FEATURES - MPW MINISTER, CHINESE DELEGATION DISCUSS ...

Public Works Minister,Samuel Kofi Woods in August met with a Chinese delegation headed by the Vice Governor of Henan Provisional Government of China at his Lynch Street office in Monrovia.

The Vice Governor is the second Chinese official visiting the Ministry of Public Works since Mr.Woods took the mantle of leadership.

Minister Woods thanked the Chinese delegation for the visit in the Country and lauded them for their assistant toward the people of Liberia mostly the Rehabilitation of Roads in the Country.

Speaking on behalf of the head of the Chinese delegation Mr.Qin Yuhai said his province will assist Liberia in it rehabilitation program.

Mr.Yuhai further said that his government poverty Reduction Strategy program in terms of road construction.

Also, Mr.Yuhai stated that the Chinese company that is presently carrying out major road works in the Country,  CHICO is located in the Henan Province of China.

The delegation included senior officials of Henan Province of China.
